WINTER CHILL

The autumn chill has just welcomed itself in Sydney this past week and all i'm thinking about is layers! Layers upon layers upon layers, chickadees! Be different - wear a shirt around your hips as a belt, layer a bold skirt over some jeans, jumper over jacket over shirt. Theres never a wrong way to layer.

Autumn Basics

Autumn is definitely creeping into season so I've written up a basics list you should have in your wardrobe! Given the standard, unpredictable Australian weather (where you go from sweating to shivering in 2 hours), keep a variety of short sleeves and long pants to make you ready for any day. 

1. White collared shirt: Wear with your trousers or keep it cool with some denim shorts and boots. Not only an autumn basic but should be part of your wardrobe basics too. 
2. Khaki coat: For those chilly days, just to throw over your outfit
3. Wool wrap skirt: wear it with stockings on a brisk day, or just wear with a basic, coloured t-shirt 
4. Statement t-shirt: You can literally wear this with anything. Be bold - wear it with a printed skirt or leather skirt 
5. Black ankle boots: no explaining necessary - these are a staple need
6. Leather pants: Step away from the standard blue denim jeans - throw these on for a grungier look
